In response to the needs of our CTSA trainee and scholar communities during this unprecedented crisis, NCATS and CLIC have collaborated to create a portal to wellness resources that can help you take care of yourself, feel connected, keep active, and integrate wellness as a means to grow your career and pursue your professional, academic, and personal goals.  

There are thousands of resources out there to address every aspect of wellness. Here, you’ll find an intentional sampling of them that speak directly to the needs of our CTSA community during the current crisis—but that can also help develop beneficial habits and practices you can incorporate at all stages across your career trajectory. 


Take care of your needs and aspirations
Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you seeking balance in your life? Does the future look like one big question mark? If you want to get grounded, align with your aspirations, and integrate mindfulness into your life, here are some resources to get you started.

Stay connected
Are you feeling lonely? Would you like to learn how to keep in touch with your colleagues & mentors and develop new collaborations? Are you feeling disconnected from your community? Culture? Your life purpose? Here are some strategies for staying connected in this challenging time.

Stay active
Closed gyms and cancelled social events created a void in our established physical and emotional habits that kept us in good shape and spirit. Are you seeking motivation in creating a new fitness routine? New approaches to healthy eating? Intellectual and recreational activities to engage your brain? Here are some resources to keep your mind, body, and heart active.

Build your resilience and coping skills
There are many challenges, but learning healthy ways to move through adversity—a collection of skills to build resilience—can help us cope better and recover more quickly. Are you looking for ways to cope? Would you like to build up your ability to manage stress amidst adversity?
