Meeting Theme: Achieving Health Equity through the Science of Translation
Meeting Objective: To provide Hub leadership with an opportunity to:
- Network with their peers
- Share best practices for practical applications
- Gain knowledge through resource updates
Poster Session:
The poster session will take place on Tues Nov. 1 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET. The theme is 'Achieving Health Equity through the Science of Translation' which coincides with the overall meeting theme. Hubs looking to participate need to register for the poster session. An account on the CLIC website is required to register. For additional information, please review the Additional Information tab and the FAQs.

Theme: "Achieving Health Equity through the Science of Translation"
Posters should cover a broad range of topics and can include but not limited to: Maternal-Child Health; Adolescent Behavioral Health; Resilience and Human Performance; Rural and Urban Population Health; Achieving Diversity and Equity in Clinical Trials; Health Aging and Elderly Care; Climate Change and Human Health; Equity in RWD/RWE; Health Disparities; etc.

Poster Printing/Shipping:
Printing is the responsibility of the hub, including all costs incurred if shipping.
Shipped posters need to be sent no earlier than 4 days prior to the event to for your institution to avoid incurring additional storage charges

Set-Up: Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM ET in the Ambassador Ballroom
Poster boards will be labeled alphabetically by hub
Push-pins to hang your posters will be provided by CLIC
Posters should remain available for viewing on the morning of Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
Tear-Down: Wednesday, November 2, 2022, 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM ET. Posters not picked up by 2:30 PM ET will be discarded

General
Yes. Registrants will be vetted by CTSA Hub Administrators once registration officially closes.
Networking is always a goal of CTSA Program meetings. However, as the meeting agenda is not yet finalized, how much networking time is planned is not yet known.
It is possible, but not definite yet.
Yes, the files will be posted to the CLIC website following the meeting.

Yes, a room block has been set up for the night of Monday, October 31st through Tuesday, November 1st at the Omni Shoreham Washington DC hotel.
Please note: guest rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Room Rate: $279 plus tax
Poster Session
Theme: Achieving Health Equity through the Science of Translation (same as overall meeting theme)
SC Planning Team encourages posters that cover a broad range of topics such as, but not limited to, the following
Subtopics:
- Maternal-Child Health
- Adolescent Behavioral Health
- Resilience and Human Performance
- Rural and Urban Population Health
- Achieving Diversity and Equity in Clinical Trials
- Healthy Aging and Elderly Care
- Other
Poster submissions can begin on Friday, July 15th.
Poster submissions will close on Friday, October 7th.
A full poster session submission will include:
- A poster file, no larger than 225MB in size
- An abstract description of the poster
- Poster presenter’s name
Please note, the poster presenter must register for the meeting, as well.
Posters will be visible during the Poster and Networking Session on the evening of Tuesday, November 1st from 6:00pm - 8:00pm ET.
The posters will be arranged by Subtopic noted in the first question above and then alphabetically by Hub name within the Subtopic.
The posters will be available for viewing until 3pm ET on Wednesday, November 2nd.

Registration is scheduled to open Monday, July 11th.
Yes, there is a registration limit for each Hub. Overall, each Hub can have five (5) in-person attendees.This number does not include speakers or the one poster presenter for your Hub.
Registration will officially close on Thursday, October 14th.
Yes, a CLIC account is necessary in order to register. If you do not have an account yet, please follow the instructions in the New Member Guide.
No, there is no cost involved to participate in the meeting.
Yes, that is possible.There is a question on the registration form asking if you are registering yourself or on behalf of another user.
Directly following your registration, a confirmation message is sent that will:
- Outline the information provided during registration
- Provide the link to the Hotel Room Block
- Please note: guest rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Include links to any important information on the website
As the meeting dates get closer, a final confirmation email will be sent to each registrant outlining what to expect at the meeting.
