Converge Logo

What is emotionally challenging research? How does recognizing your emotions during research lead to more ethical and methodologically sound practices? If you are interested in learning more, please join us for this brief 30-minute webinar.

During this session, the presenters will provide an overview of the newly released CONVERGE Conducting Emotionally Challenging Research Training Module. The webinar will describe how hazards and disaster researchers can cope with and harness the power of emotions in research. In addition, participants will see how the module functions and be able to view the resources associated with it.

The Conducting Emotionally Challenging Research Training Module—developed with support from the National Science Foundation—is now available via the CONVERGE website. We hope you will access it in advance of the webinar. Educators can also find additional resources at the CONVERGE Training Module Assignment Bank.

The webinar is limited to 500 participants, so please register soon! If you cannot attend, the webinar will be recorded and posted on the CONVERGE webinar series page. Please also remember to sign-up for updates for future events and free resources through the CONVERGE website.
