An Un-Meeting on Rural Health and Health Equity

The University of Florida is pleased to host an Un-Meeting on Rural Health and Health Equity Monday, April 8, 2019 in Gainesville, Florida.

This event will focus on catalyzing new collaborations to bridge the translational science and agricultural extension sectors to improve rural health and achieve health equity, hosted by the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute and the UF Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

Supported by the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration, of the National Institutes of Health's Clinical and Translational Science Awards Program, the Un-Meeting seeks to cultivate ideas and develop collaborative partnerships across academia, industry, government, and community.

The Un-Meeting format, which is without the rules and structure of a traditional conference, provides a unique opportunity for attendees to focus on what really matters to them, as they drive the agenda and the resulting discussions. This format is particularly beneficial for multidisciplinary groups of participants with varied backgrounds and areas of expertise.

You can read more about this event in this post from CLIC, and explore the Un-Meeting concept in more detail here.
