Consortium Groups

Consortium Groups are comprised of individuals with specific expertise in the subject matter described below. Consortium Groups facilitate communication between each other, their respective CTSA Program institutions and with NCATS allowing open bidirectional conversations around strategies, approaches, and best practices for addressing challenges with the overall goal of advancing translational science.

Group Application – Learn about Working Group Proposal Submissions. Based upon availability, there will be three (3) application submission rounds annually.

TL1 PI/Directors Group TL1 awards support students seeking a practical introduction to clinical and translational research. The CTSA Program hub selects TL1 candidates and provides full-time research training support for predoctoral candidates as well as postdoctoral fellows
KL2 PI/Directors Group KL2 awards support mentored research career development for clinical investigators who have recently completed professional training and who are commencing basic, translational and/or clinical research
Communicators Group

The Communicators focus on effectively communicating about the efforts of the hubs, and about translational science and its societal value

Administrators Group The Administrators serve as key points of contact between program leadership and directors, and NCATS personnel. This group focuses on best practices and issues related to the efficient conduct of the CTSA Program
