Research and Evaluation Program Manager

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) established the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) in 2014, a nationwide consortium dedicated to enhancing the training and career development of individuals from diverse backgrounds, communities, and cultures who are pursuing biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and social science careers. We are seeking an administrative program specialist for the NRMN Coordination Center (NRMN CC). The NRMN CC coordinates the research activities of 11 NRMN Science of Mentoring U01 interventions across the country and provides feedback on the data collected from the interventions to maximize the research benefit of activities. The administrative program specialist will assist the NRMN CC data team in tracking the progress of the data collection for each U01 study, working with the research managers from each U01 study to ensure collaboration and timelines are being met, and assist with the intake of data from each U01 study. Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods is necessary to understand the types of data collection across each U01 study as well as experience with the different stages of the data collection process. The administrative program specialist will also work to keep track of all measures used across the U01 studies and ensure that common measures are being used when applicable. Experience with building surveys and survey design is desired to help understand the measure selection process. This position will also work with the data team to present results from the shared data in a variety of different formats.

This position will assist with the management of the NRMN CC data team activities and will report directly to the Research Assistant Director. In particular, this individual will be adept at implementing creative solutions, working independently, and developing efficient systems. This individual must demonstrate attention to detail, strong organization skills, and an openness to changing priorities as well as the ability to work on a variety of parts of projects at once. Qualifications: Experience

Required:
-Minimum of one year project evaluation experience.

Preferred:
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, while still meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to details.
-Prior experience working on a research project and organizing data.
-Prior experience working with data collection and electronic survey platforms
-Prior experience working with diverse populations
-Prior experience with website creation and management
