Research Network Opportunities, Collaborative Awards
The goal of this page is to assist the CTSA Program network with identifying collaborators and projects of interest from other CTSA Program hubs and broader external partners from academia, industry, government agencies, foundations, patient groups and other organizations. CLIC provides a range of mechanisms to support both CTSA Program hub and external collaborations, including:
- Supporting cross-network team synergy manuscripts on topics of joint interest
- Promoting un-meetings as self-organizing events to bring together potential partners
- Developing mechanisms to support a robust training network.
As an initial example, NCATS has supported several initiatives and launched Collaborative Innovation Awards designed to stimulate team-based research collaborations across the CTSA Program network. Through a variety of projects, the CTSA Program hubs strive to leverage expertise across institutions to overcome translational science roadblocks. These funded projects and dissemination of their results may provide additional opportunities for collaboration across the CTSA Program network and with external partners.
Trial Innovation Network
The Trial Innovation Network is a collaborative national network that focuses on operational innovation, excellence and collaboration.
SMART IRB is a platform designed to ease common challenges associated with initiating multisite research and to provide a roadmap for institutions to implement the NIH Single IRB Review policy.
The CD2H harnesses and expands an ecosystem for translational scientists to discover and share their software, data, and other research resources within the CTSA Program network.
