Postdoctoral Fellowship

We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to start by December 1st,2021. This postdoc position is supported by the National Cancer Institute (T32) funded Cancer Control Research Training Program at UTHealth. Our faculty are internationally recognized in the areas of implementation science, cancer control and population sciences, health equity, cancer epidemiology, among others, with high levels of NIH, CDC, State, and foundation funding including a CDC funded Prevention Research Center, the Texas Comprehensive Colorectal Screening Program, and a new Institute for Implementation Science. Texas cancer researchers also are eligible for many funding opportunities from the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). Our postdoctoral program has launched many outstanding scholars – join us at anyone of our six campuses across the state.

Experience and/or interest in implementation science, health equity, community engaged research is highly desirable. Applicants from underrepresented minority groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

Fellows will receive support for up to 2 years and annual stipend starting at $53,760, depending on experience plus health insurance, tuition, fees, books, software, and travel.

Position Eligibility
Individuals with a PhD, DrPH, MD, or other doctoral degree in public health, health promotion, behavioral or social science, epidemiology, health services research, health policy, health economics, biostatistics, or data science. Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
