CTMS Support and Training Specialist

Detailed Description: 

The CTMS Support and Training Specialist will be a product subject matter expert for the clinical trials management system, OnCore, managed by the Institute for Clinical Trials Research (ICTR). Incumbent will communicate and engage with OnCore users, technical support personnel, the Clinical Research Systems Administrator and Forte Research Systems, Inc., the software vendor of OnCore, regarding support, testing, training, documentation, and enhancements. The CTMS Support and Training Specialist will assist with collaborations between departments, groups, and study teams to increase efficiency and productivity, and improve workflow processes based upon the use of OnCore in support of sponsor, industry, and investigator initiated clinical trials. The CTMS Support and Training Specialist will be the primary individual for user support and in the preparation and delivery of appropriate training and documentation to the user base of OnCore and will assist in the testing of software patches and enhancements.

This position reports to the Clinical Research Systems Administrator.. Work experience should demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and maturity. Candidates must be effective at building interpersonal relationships with constructive interactions, be clear and effective communicators, promote and create a collegial environment that values accountability.

Qualifications: Skills: 

Bachelor's degree required; preferred focus: informatics, healthcare, biology, or related field.

Qualifications: Experience: 

-3 or more years working with clinical trials is preferred.
-Previous experience working with OnCore or other data management systems highly preferred.
-Previous experience creating training materials and leading group sessions is preferred.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

A minimum of 7 years' experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
