2019 Spring Common Metrics Meeting Evaluation Summary Report

Purpose

To elicit participant feedback on the 2019 Spring Common Metrics Meeting

Executive Summary

On March 4th, 2019 the Spring Common Metrics Meeting was held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM. On Monday, March 11th, an evaluation survey was sent to all 149 attendees. The survey was composed of both quantitative and qualitative questions and was divided into 3 aspects of the meeting: Meeting Content, Meeting Logistics and the Overall Meeting. A total of 57 unique responses were cultivated from the survey for a 38.3% response rate, and each was analyzed individually.

With regard to meeting content, most participants agreed that the topics discussed were valuable and that the meeting addressed their expectations. However, nearly 20% of participants indicated that they did not understand the next steps for moving the group forward in 2019. In terms of meeting logistics, most participants were satisfied with the online registration process, CLIC on-site assistance, and meeting facilities, including hotels.

Overall, the average rating of the meeting was a 7.88, and the median was an 8. Comments reflect that small group discussions and sharing of best practices were particularly helpful aspects of the meeting. In addition, many comments reflected requests for meetings of longer duration as well as requests for different topics of discussion. Overall, the meeting proved to be a positive experience for most members.
