You may have already met some team members during the CCOS shadowing sessions with CLIC, as we have been working closely with CLIC to transition support for the CTSA Program Groups and meetings. -The CTSA Program Annual Spring Meeting provides an opportunity for the CTSA Steering Committee, Communicators Group, and Enterprise Committees to convene in person to support their goals, address priority or emerging public health issues, and share and/or define best practices across the consortium. Each group sets their own agenda for this meeting.
The two meetings held each year provide an opportunity to achieve the CTSA Program Goals and bring key consortium stakeholders together. The CTSA Program Annual Meeting is held in the fall focusing on priority areas and offering opportunities for the consortium members to come together to share best practices.The agenda for this meeting is planned by the CTSA Program Steering Committee with input received from prior meeting evaluations and additional input solicited from the consortium.

Discussion Forums are similar to predecessor unstructured group formats, think Key Function Committees. They were established to allow self aggregating teams to gather for in-depth discussion of translational science topics.

CTSA Program Groups were established to execute the recommendations of the NCATS Advisory Council Working Group on the IOM Report on the CTSA Program. The CTSA Program Groups are made up of Consortium Groups, Enterprise Committees, Working Groups and Discussion Forums.

The different types of CTSA Program Groups have different objectives as well as different membership requirements. Each CTSA Program hub is allowed to have one voting representative on the Enterprise Committee. This member is appointed by the hub PI and is the primary point of contact for their hub for all matters relating to their specific Enterprise Committee.
