Chunlei Wu, Data Discovery Engine lead, will share several new tools on a project targeted to maximize data discovery by utilizing schema.org as the mechanism for authoring and disseminating dataset metadata.

Two guest speakers will also share projects showcasing how the schema.org mechanism and Data Discovery Engine can help portals become standardized dataset metadata for providers and consumers.
• Johanna Loomba, Research Concierge Services Manager for the integrated Translational Health Research Institute of Virginia, presenting iTHRIV, a single online point-of-entry for essential clinical and translational research resources and information.
• Laura Hughes, PhD, Data Scientist at The Scripps Research Institute, presenting the NIAID Data Portal with a focus on infectious disease.
