Assistant Director for Team Science and Research Development

The power of interdisciplinary research teams has been recognized as a critical component of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) sites' mission to advance the translational research pipeline and ultimately to improve public health. At the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR), we use a Team Science (TS) framework to support the association of investigators from different departments and schools in the formation of effective, innovative teams composed of individuals with complementary expertise. We're seeking a self-motivated professional able to work effectively with diverse colleagues across multiple research and clinical settings to contribute effectively to national conversations about TS and clinical and translational research. The TS and Research Development (RD) Assistant Director will work under the Director of TS and RD to grow, refine and directly contribute to our program offerings. The School of Medicine and Public Health has a deep and profound commitment to diversity as an end in itself and also as a valuable means for eliminating health disparities. As such, we strongly encourage applications from candidates who foster and promote the values of diversity and inclusion in a medical education and research environment.
